Vampires and foxes!

The Denver Zoo has a great bat exhibit, which includes a small colony of vampire bats, which I think are utterly adorable little things. Much like hunchbacked, bizarre looking puppies, they can hop-bounce about, walk on their little thumbs, and even GALLOP.

That's right. Gallop. Fast.

Buggity bug bug...

Here's a couple little sketchbook chunks from back when I went to the Museum of Nature & Science and played with dead bugs!

Materials: Prismacolor colored pencils, HB graphite pencil.

Birdoom!

Righto then! Here's a page of doodlery from my current sketchbook, dedicated with all due ♥♥♥ for my dear Zodi. I actually doodled these as practice for the wedding present I'm making her.

I think the cormorant is my favorite
(yes, Jeromie, you were right; not an albatross - shut up). He just looks so...cutely mischievous/ghastly somehow. lol Maybe because cormorants' faces are so similar to plague doctors'? Hm.

So anyway...

♥♥♥, Zodi!
